Hunan Kitchen

This is exactly what I want when I order Chinese. The sauces are tasty, the portions are generous, the food isn't super authentic or fancy (it's american chinese takeout style) but it's not the super cheap stuff that's disappointing - it's GOOD, solid, tasty food.

The crab rangoon is a big mouthful of cream cheese and deliciousness, the sweet bbq ribs are a treat, the twice cooked pork hits the spot, the stringbeans (with chicken or beef, or even with out - whatever) are good enough the kids ask for them - a vegetable - as their favorite dish. I like a good crispy beef and have tried it at every restaurant in the area. I've had versions that were crisped until they were basically eating dry crackers, I've had a version obviously made with ketchup (oh my god that was bad), I've had a few passable versions that go the cheapest route and try to drown it in shredded celery and carrots (which, let's face it, is not what you order crispy beef to get more of) - this place does a decent version with green peppers, onions, and carrots - it comes out very well. (Best ever? No, but very solid - and a decent price for it around here.)

The General tso's is (thank you!) *Not* over breaded (thank you!) Just nicely crisp coating on white meat with a great straightforward sauce. Exactly what I want.

For quick takeout, at a decent price, I couldn't be happier. Seem like good people too!

The food is great the best sweet and sour pork I've ever had. The food has flavor and not just greasy and bland like some Chinese places. The service is friendly and the the food is served quickly.

Fantastic food, obviously prepared and delivered with care. Everything was perfect! Even though it was delivered, each dish tasted like it had just come out of the kitchen.

My order came much sooner than the estimated arrival time. They also gave me a ton of rice with my order! I had enough for two meals!
